I MET TAMORA PIERCE OMG!!!!

I know, I've already subjected you to the squeey-fangirly phone post, but...it's funny, I didn't realize how much it would really mean to me, meeting someone who has been one of my "Sheroes" for the past twenty years. Why did I not realize this? No clue. But wow. I've been reading her books since 1986. (I told her that and the girl behind me in line said, "Wow, that's as long as I've been alive!")

She said she was kept to a 200-page-per-book maximum until Harry Potter proved to publishers that American teenagers WILL read long books. *grin*

It was just so great to meet her. I am still very very happy.
