I just saw both the American and the international trailers for The Dark Is Rising.

Why didn't they just film themselves burning the five books?  That would've been less painful than watching some of my favourite canon get violently raped up the arse.

*cries*

Not even Christopher Eccleston can save this movie.  I am officially boycotting.

So someone help me keep my morbid curiosity in check so I won't watch anymore trailers and shit.
