More on the Great LJ Strikeout (okay okay Strikethrough)
LJ has finally spoken to US.

news has a post on "What we did wrong" and "How we are fixing it".
I have to say, I'm relieved. It doesn't make it all better, nor will I be as trusting of LJ in future, but at least they're talking to the users now, instead of the press. I was hoping we'd get an apology. Now I'm hoping they stand by what they said in it.
